About Tune In Tune Up

What is Tune In Tune Up?

Tune In Tune Up is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to empowering musicians and music industry professionals by providing accessible medical, dental, and behavioral health resources.

What is your mission?

Our mission is to connect musicians and music industry professionals with comprehensive healthcare resources, fostering a supportive community that prioritizes their overall well-being and enables them to thrive both personally and professionally.

Who does Tune In Tune Up serve?

We serve musicians of all genres and career stages, as well as music industry professionals, including sound engineers, roadies, tour managers, production crew, and other support staff who often lack access to consistent healthcare.

What types of healthcare services do you provide?

We connect the music community with providers offering:

  • General medical care

  • Dental services

  • Behavioral Health and Wellness support

  • Preventative care

  • Specialist referrals

Do you provide free healthcare?

We help connect musicians and music industry professionals with affordable healthcare options. We work with a network of providers who offer reduced rates, payment plans, or other accommodations. We also offer healthcare grants through an application process. We'll work with you to determine eligibility for services through an initial consultation.

For behavioral health specifically, we will pay for an initial evaluation and two therapy sessions. Following these sessions, our therapists will introduce or provide appropriate referrals if needed and share information on behavioral health resources available in Southern New England.

Do services only address music related health conditions?

No. While we understand the unique health challenges faced by those in the music industry, our providers offer comprehensive care for all health concerns, not just those directly related to music performance or production.
